Samsung has combined Pay and Pass into one Wallet app. Samsung is making it easy to keep credit card and other sensitive data on your phone. The business said on Wednesday that its Pay and Pass apps would be combined into a single Wallet platform. You won’t have to switch between two apps to manage your digital identification as a result of the move. Instead, the company’s new Wallet app will allow you to save your debit and credit card information, as well as your login credentials for websites and apps, for mobile payments.

Samsung claims that the software may be used to store digital auto keys from BMW, Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia, as well as airline boarding tickets, beginning with Korea Air. And, just in time for crypto winter, you can now track your bitcoins across multiple exchanges.

Later this year, the app will allow you to save digital IDs from participating institutions and state governments, such as student cards and driver’s licenses. Integration with Samsung’s SmartThings platform is also available. Everything is kept safe and secure on your device thanks to Samsung’s Knox platform.

Samsung Wallet is now available for download in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. If you already have the Pay and Pass applications loaded on your phone, you’ll be prompted to update when you access them the next time. Samsung has been promising a fully developed Wallet app for a long time, especially after the company enabled support for digital auto keys last year.
